About Paul Jeffries

Paul Jeffries is a seasoned leader in football development, with over 25 years of experience leveraging the game to empower youth and foster stronger, more connected communities. His work centers on building cross-sector partnerships—engaging local governments, corporations, professional clubs, and grassroots leaders—to design and deliver programs that promote health, safety, and social inclusion.

He currently serves as an advisor to City Football Group and serves on the board of City in the Community, the foundation of New York City Football Club, which he co-founded in 2010 in partnership with Manchester City FC and the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Paul is a member of the U.S. Advisory Council for The Twinning Project, a Global initiative that uses sport to support rehabilitation and reentry for incarcerated individuals.

He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University and is the author of the Youth Soccer Player Handbook. Across three decades, Paul has remained committed to using a tool for development, connection, and opportunity.
