About Paul Jeffries

Paul Jeffries is a global community development strategist with more than 25 years of experience using football to support underserved youth and communities. He focuses on building public-private partnerships, working with local governments, professional football clubs, and community leaders to design and deliver innovative programs that promote health, safety, and social connection.

 

Paul currently serves as an advisor to City Football Group and as a board member of City in the Community, the foundation of New York City Football Club, which he founded in 2010 in partnership with Manchester City Football Club and the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C.

 

He is also a member of the U.S. Advisory Council for The Twinning Project, a national initiative that supports rehabilitation through sport.

 

Paul holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University and is the author of the Youth Soccer Player Handbook. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to using the power of sport to build stronger, more inclusive communities around the world.
