
About Paul Jeffries
Paul Jeffries is a global leader in harnessing sport for development, innovation, and sustainable social impact. With more than 25 years of experience building and leading programs across the U.S. and internationally, Paul has spearheaded transformative initiatives that use football’s power to develop youth, strengthen communities, and create shared value for business and society.
He currently advises executive leadership at City Football Group and New York City Football Club, shaping strategies that align commercial growth with community purpose. His work focuses on designing cross-sector partnerships that connect governments, corporations, professional clubs, and grassroots leaders to advance health, education, and inclusion through sport.
Beyond his consulting practice, Paul serves on the U.S. Advisory Council for the Twinning Project, which partners professional sports clubs with local prisons to improve the wellbeing of incarcerated youth and support reentry programs that reduce recidivism.
A founder of City in the Community Foundation USA, established in 2010 with Manchester City FC and the UAE Embassy in Washington, D.C., Paul continues to serve on its board. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University and is widely recognized for his leadership in advancing sport as a platform for social innovation and community transformation.
